What's the point of unconsciousness if everything keeps attacking you anyway?

Not everything/one keeps attacking you and you can drop to 0 SHP without being attacked.

Not terribly. I don't want to kill Everyone that I'm fighting. Animals also leave you be half the time. You'd rather Never survive an encounter with another player/animal/leech/thorn than survive most of the time?

It should be a safety net against lagging. The time I got killed by ants is a great example. They did 268 damage to me...They actually left for a few seconds then came back to finish me off before I was conscious again.

the unconcious state is a good way to stop the terrible griefers too lol. It's 100k for murder, so some can only knock u out and steal ur stuff, id rather that than to be killed everytime

Lag is not a reason to implement certain game mechanics. Your reasoning is terribly flawed.
