Scaling discovery LP

LP from "discovering" new items is nice, but it stops mattering too quickly imo.
My suggestion would be +X LP for each discovery (like 50, 60, 70, 80), or maybe +X% (like 50, 55, 60,5, 66)...

Also, buildings counting as a discovery would be nice.

I think it makes sense just to give higher end items a greater discovery bonus.

Who's to say what's a "higher end" item though? Would require jorftar to go through and catalog every single item in the game and categorize its discovery importance.

I agree that +180LP to a character with millions seems dumb, but discovery LP isn't really intended as an LP source and just more of a way for new characters to get the necessary LP to buy some skills while they start their journey.

This. I think originally curiosities were intended as the sole source of LP, but that would cause problems in the extreme early game. So "discovery" LP is a small, initial boost.

I understand that. I'm saying that, as currently implemented, the game doesn't differentiate between any of these items and mere branches. There's no good way to sort your discovery bonuses except for going through by hand and rating every single item in the game as "low/mid/high".
