why do you think this thread was made

There is no way to get dragonflies above q 10 right? What if the net would actually increase the quality of the caught bug. Ofcouse through a complicated calculation of which i know nothing about :) depending on the quality of the net. Also the net wouldn't allow the user to catch bugs by simply standing there but would only increase the range at which the bug is caught. This could also affect silkmoths i guess. (a different calculation than for the dragons and ladybugs)

wacha think?

(found this doing a search, its not quite the idea I had, but-) I was just running around trying to catch a ladybug yesterday...running into it, running past it, cornering it at the edge of a river, and each time missing the 'hitbox' when I right-clicked. maybe my eyes are bad, maybe my screen resolution is off, maybe its the horrible old pc I'm using, maybe I have terrible mouse-eye coordination, maybe it was the lag, but none of that matters. it made me think to myself it would be awesome to have a bug/butterfly net that did nothing more than make the hit box on bugs larger when equipped!

should be easilly made, branches and a few strings or maybe plant fiber to make it less of a noob item and when equipped if you right-click within 1 tile(in game grid you get when you press ctrl G) of a bug you run to catch it. I know a tile is far larger than a bug's hitbox, so maybe 1/4 of a tile size around the bug...

Erm..there's already a good, functioning mod that makes the hit-box on all flying insects bigger..

"Flies mod"

Hypocryte D:

It would be great idea as long as it would require silk string to prevent heavy easiness.
