Adventure>hide object

And then you'd click the object, and you can click boughs and place them in a building queue window. Instead of it saying "build" it will say "hide". And some things will need more boughs to hide it, i.e. three boughs for a wicker basket, and twenty for a boat.

And the treasure map idea sounds great! That is definitely what I'm talking about, in terms of player interaction!!

Think of maybe rare rocks that, when you chip stone from them, you obtain some raw metal. I feel like this would be something one would keep on a map, and it would also be a nice way to allow more players access to metals, albeit raw and low quality metals. Maybe players could also hollow out trees and hide small things in them. Perhaps one could booby-trap containers too, to get back at thieves passive-aggressively.

definitly but i think hollowing trees might be a little to far because it would be so simple just to cut down the tree, but keep up the great ideas

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

Add in traps to go with it. Bear traps, spike pit traps, lye barrel traps, drop traps, snares, etc.

-If you step on a bear trap (If it's left on the ground, and activated, and covered with boughs, or just left out in the open and you step on it), you get it clamped on your foot, take damage, and have to pry it off (Which should take a bit of time), before you can do more than crawl.
-Spike trap is exactly what it sounds like. You step on something sharp, and get stabbed, or stick your hand in something with pokey things inside it.
-Lye trap is a jar of boiling lye, hooked to a tree branch, or a door frame. When you walk through/under it, it drops on you. I take it you can understand how that would hurt.
-Drop trap is another simple one. Step on the trigger (A tripwire, or plate if you're all industrial n' such), and a box of stone/a log/a boulder, drops on your noggin'.
-You could also trap animals via these traps. Bear traps would out right kill rats/frogs/rabbits, maim foxes, and injure bears and boars. The bear traps great strength against these creatures, is that they it will hold it in place (Sure, they have a small chance to break free, but they've just lost a paw, so they'll be walking slow).

Obviously, if you've made a hidden bough catch, or a tree catch, or dug a hole, or whatever, if the trap goes off, when you check your cache, you'll know.

I really like this! This is an interesting way of giving less strong Hearthlings the chance to hunt, as well as fend off theives and the like.

Also, an addition, lye traps, and bear traps could have an affect on your characters looks (Temporarily, or until they pry the bear trap off, and put gauze on their face).

So if you see some asshole in a bear cape with a scarred up face and a bear trap on both feet, you know he's been up to no good.

In Swedish I would call the stone a "gömma" or a "hie" or even better "kula"... kula. That's a great word. That's a kula. Pronounced kuu-LAH

You need perc + explore to see the kula. It will otherwise appear as a boulder of similar size. You'll know it's there, but you might not be able to interact with it. If we do locks, it can also be locked. The kula is marked as a quick travel point, and can hold four carryables.

what about digging holes, then using boughs+soil to cover it. need to have high perc/explo to see it.

Unless you actually step in it and twist your ankle. :(
