- When a item is created it comes with a "seal". Reading it removes the seal thus LP gain is removed.

While a book-type curio might interesting, I'm sure there are better uses for them besides being some kind of... Thing that doesn't disappear when used. Urk. It's a bit awkward. If it weren't destroyed, what's the point in keeping it around if nobody else could use it? Sure, it doesn't make sense, realistically, that
anything and everything would just be destroyed because you were studying it... But from a gameplay perspective? They might as well just disappear if you can't use them. You know, like curios already do.
