OK this is a simple suggestion to 'fix' the 'how to access this recipe?' problem.
As i said few times now, i really like the new curio system, i really think its very good, in fact one of the best xping method i have seen since i played UO in 98. I won't argue why here, its not the point.
Anyway there is a prblem with it, its the recipe trigering, somehow i can understand why it is action based rather than item based, mean the recipe triger from an action like butchering rather than picking the fur from the floor. I don't understand fully why this was choosen that way but somehow i have few ideas why.
Yet this create a real problem for us players, we don't know what to do for sure to get access to this or this recipe, and it shouldn't be that way. And even if you know how, it just doesn't feel right at all. Sure you can always say, its just the time the wiki is built up, but a wiki shouldn't be needed to understand how the game work, so it is a very bad excuse to me. Getting the recipe you need should be the most natural thing in fact. So i just propose the dev to implement a teaching skill. When using this skill on someone else you will learn him that particular recipe your character already know, and thats it. He might get reduce lp, but wouldn't have to think about all the chain of triger he should get to learn that recipe.
This is pretty simple i guess, don't know if it can create bad consequences in your system. This won't fix the initial problem, but it will help a lot the community i guess to manage the learning process ingame.
