I like slower paced games, andi have no problems with the difficulty level. I LOVE the new house biulding rules.

But yeah, I would like to see hunger slowed by at LEAST 20 % or so.

It would slow stat growth! it fits with the whole game concept!

I don't mind the rate of hunger. The faster you become hungry, the faster you can raise your stats without overeating. However, with the majority of available FEP slanted towards Constitution, all other stats really suffer in the current system of highest-stat FEP.

It might help if bread, like apples, didn't count for stats.

Does anything happen when you're 100% overstuffed (Don't want to try that myself)?

I suspect you explode.

Hmm... I definitely think that too much food is needed- You need at least eight or nine meals to get through an in-game day, plus snacks.

I'm not saying that the game needs to be made more easy; on the contrary, I think that by decreasing the amount of food necessary to survive (to from 100% full -> 0% hungry in one game day, and starve over the next two days), and make finding food more difficult. Apple trees could have a limited number of apples, for instance.

I'm just thinking out loud, here. I'm not at all convinced that could work.
I do think that too much time is spent eating, though. As a rule, watching you character eat is pretty boring.
Surprise.

I just tried to reach it. I got to 62% overstuffed and then my character refused to eat any more. (The 'Eat' button still came up, but clicking it did nothing)

Hrm. Try eating a WWW at 99% full? Or would not even that do it?

It's hard limiting my diet to only boars and sheep :/
Why not let each statistic have their own progress bar?

You've obviously never eaten a Wonderful Wilderness Wurst :D.

Yeah, I too feel that hunger is a bit too fast. The way it is, while you're harvesting you eat half of what you harvest. This makes it hard to support an industrial population.

Hunger increases if you're below your maximum stamina; don't run, and you don't need to eat as much.

It might help if bread, like apples, didn't count for stats.

Bread boosts constitution, the food chart says so Image
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Now THAT is a good suggestion. A lot of food can increase more than only one ability. why not let every ability grow on its own? plus reducing hunger a bit... two chests of cow sausege are gone after one day here at laketone. and were not that many...

That was my point. It might help if it didn't boost anything. Then we'd be able to eat something neutral that was more filling than apples without ending up with huge con scores and crippling our stat gain. Right now there isn't anything neutral that's more filling than apples, unless you count the WWW, I suppose.
