Maybe you could instead just sacrifice them partially (aka spilling blood for the gods) and lose half your hhp or something.
Plus the stats I posted, I admit, were a little crazy. But I'm all for the animal sacrifices!

Hmm...I see what u guys mean about how that system would be flawed.
Maybe you could instead just sacrifice them partially (aka spilling blood for the gods) and lose half your hhp or something.

I'm up for animal sacrifices, but what is gained from it? Any negative consequence?

If the blood were part of a curio/item that required other items, then maybe it might be worth bothering with. Human blood is just a very very cheap commodity in this game due to alt generation. That's why it's not useful for any reason.
As for animal blood... not a horrible idea. Something that required the corpse be consumed, so you lose all other benefits and instead get blood equal to the animals quality. It would not be cheap to get good Q of it. Would be a nice way to introduce red dyed clothing other than bandit masks imo.

Blood isn't actually very good for dyeing cloth.

Hmm... well, maybe using alts to farm blood could be avoided if the blood has to be from a character with certain base stats or something
