Curiosity warning.

Postby Billboul » Mon Apr 18, 2011 11:50 am

If you misclick and drop a curiosity on the ground (will be destroy) just maybe pop up a message like this

-------------------------------------------------
/--Are you sure to drop ''item name''---- \
/----It will be destroy permanently----- \
/---------------------------------------------- \
/---------[YES]--------------[NO]----------- \
------------------------------------------------

I say that because I just lost my Itsy bitty spider :(

Its not hard to make ... (I guess...)

something like this would be good, but maybe for taking any curio out if your inven, becuse i have miss clicked a few times when it laggs and that really annoys me with the long term curio's

Or perhaps a better solution: Don't accidentally drop your curiosities on the ground.

For you ignorant assholes, why not just add a toggle, so you can choose wether you want a pop-up window to appear or not. Getting sick of your bitch-posting, CJ.

Try shift-clicking it into your mentory instead.

what sacre said about the toggle.

it really sucks when game laggs then not noticing, you click in your mentory, the nunfreezes and your 3/4 way finished spider web has restarted or dropped

so a conformation warning of sorts would be nice

I can't quite follow... game lagging or not, why would you click your spider web in your mentory? Even if the game was not lagging, you'd still restart it that way. And if it's not in your hand right away, that's your cue that there is a lag spike, so you know you shouldn't be wildly clicking anywhere else.

Why do you have to look for particular reasons? Ppl give jack-shit if it did not happen to you. You dont have to wildly click when game laggs. It just happens from time to time. Happened to me, happened to other ppl. Happened to Jorb last time he used system msg cuz he dropped his itsys web (the FUUUU message which scared the yellowshit out of me). There are just several reasons why that happens from time to time and its unwelcome. If you dont like the idea just post you dont like it and dont try to smart-ass others.

Does not always work if you opened some chest/cup meanwhile you had status window opened. I seldomly close it and thus shif+clicking would need me to close the window, open it again, open the study table tab and then shfit+click. I do this only when setting up more than one curio. In other cases, I really use the ol'good click -> drop in inv.

Don't assume. I don't disagree with the idea, I was just pointing out that his post made no sense and asking for clarification.

and ive tried to explain twice but both of you have snaked my answer and i dont realise until, out of habit, ive clicked the view new posts :D

but what happened was...

i was putting in a cone cow, and the game lagged, before i realised that it had, i had clicked the cone cow where i wanted it, but the game only registered my mouse as being over the web.

it then replaced it.

i then tried to kill everything i could see

fortunately seeing a bear calmed me down a bit, as i didnt want to fight it.

it actually happens more than you'd think, when you change curios often.
