Yeah, small lakes in hah would be awesome.

I like the idea of being able to build a small lake in your own back yard if you want. Something like a koi pond. Or maybe something like a natural hot springs where if you go in it you would lose travel weariness as you relax. XD

You could even make it where they have to dig the ground themselves till the strike a hot springs.

Actually, a buildable fish pond, that you then could stock with caught fishes to cultivate a certain kind of fish, make sense, as it would work akin to your chicken coop. Although ...what to feed the fish? anything? and how would you moderate your fishing so as not to depoplulate the pond? also then you could construct several ponds, one for each fish type..... o the possibilities.

You could feed it seeds. Instead of vegies being the fodder, seeds could work.

Fish like bread right? Perhaps make crumbs a result of eating various foods, have the chance of getting crumbs increase If you eat at a table (plates napkins and so on)

Always wondered why there aren't any creaks/streams either. Little 1-2 tile wide rivers of shallow water.

Then you could have those cross ridges/cliffs and do waterfalls.
Could also put in basket fishing, extremely slow but automated fishing.
