1x2, made out of wood and silver, can hold up to 3l of wine/water.

How do you expect to run around with that without it spilling?

Was what I was going to say until I remembered you run around with a bucket that's probably filled to the top, I guess Hearthling's have the dexterity and balance of acrobats.

Sure, keeping some live rabbits in your pockets is way easier, as well as not spilling wine from wine glass.

While I don't see the nescessity of a bigger container that can go into inventory, I would really like barrels to be filled directly from a well or water spot, without the need for a bucket.
As for tanning, you can already fill a tanning tub directly from a barrel, so no need for a bigger container for that.

That would be a great symbel item for the table, I think! However, we already have a waterskin that holds that much and is the same size.

As far as a wine rack goes, it just doesn't hold enough for the space it takes up. Granted, it shouldn't hold as many bottles as a cupboard, but I've seen many a restaurant with specially designed shelves where wine bottles are stored in sections and 6-10 bottles go in a section just laying against each other. This is for the cheaper bottles, of course, the high priced stuff is stored as safely as possible.

We need to be able to fill tanning tub directly from the sea. If I want to drink water irl, I can fill a bottle directly from the tap, I don't need to fill 10 glasses and fill the bottle with them... >.<

And also, why can't we drink water directly from lakes and river, without having to use a recipient ??

Because then you'd have to rightclick and other stupid stuff like contextmenu.

Now maybe if there was an action like Dig that worked on water to Drink, that'd be nice.
Not like we're filtering it anyway.
