Barter Stand Improvements

Postby Jackard » Sat Apr 09, 2011 11:06 pm

Combined list of barterstand improvements:

    1. Could use more category options like Any Fish, etc.
    2. Option for setting quantity of item sold per trade.
    3. Allow players to set more than one price for an item.
    4. A button for easy transfer of stand ownership.
    5. Stand owner displayed in title, "Open" if no owner.
    6. Increase the max item slots.
    7. Ability to barter objects.
    8. Ability to set short notes for each barter. (+3 stat, PM me, etc)
bugs:

    1. many items cannot be set as a price. ex. foods and most new items (coins, gauze, hempbuds, curios, sausages, mussels...)
    2. the price you set remains even after removing goods

Please for the love of God. I'm a lowly hermit who loves to trade his excess goods. If stands were overhauled I'd be in heaven.

It would be great if there were a couple of slots for selling liftable items. Slots i mean like a wagon has. you could set the price and the buyer could pick it up if he had enough items in his inv.

Heck, if we could just get all the items added properly, it would be a huge improvement!

I think along the lines of this, a change in the coining system would be good, too. I think coinage would be more frequently used if there was a better way to store, carry, and convert it back and forth.

Yes, and it's in use in the Salem server, where there is a functional substance system. :)

I have mentioned it elsewhere, but I'll just express again how much I can hardly wait to backport those changes into Haven.
