Crash ate my wheat!

I recently planted new wheat fields in the game right before the crash. Afterward, poof. No more wheat! Seeds not in my inventory, all the planted wheat gone. This might have a very harsh effect on my little settlement... Could I possibly get a little wheat recovery?

It also seems as if the world did a partial-save. It got my inventory right (in the middle of beef cooking), but my tanning bucket is gone, as is my fire I was cooking with. Makes it seem as if the characters were saved, but not the world objects/furniture/etc.

EDIT: I've gotten some recovery wheat from a neighbor. Time to start the growing all over again...
