Excuse me, but avoiding risk would require at the very least construction of several brickwalled vaults (like 7?). "Drop of a hat" ?

1 hearthvault = perfect defense

Nobody breaks into the fucking things and by the time you do the twits have moved out and scents are about to expire.

Ability to construct a vault that would take 8 days to break into is the "stupid rams & walls" part of current raid system (which I hate wholeheartedly), as well as indestructible objects thing.

But nothing about this problem is created by hearth fire moving.

Number 1) There are no indestructible objects.
2) I don't understand where you are coming up with 8 days? Are you talking about scent expiration or something?

1 -- banners statues claim poles

I assume you were talking about scents expiration, no ?

You're wrong, banners/statues are indestructible.
9 days for scents to run out (murder), so by practicing brinksmanship (stretching but not breaking the rules) you can make it take 8 rams (8 days) to get into a place. It will be technically within the rules, but no one would dare mount a raid on the place.

To make hearthvaults less effective, there should be a 12 24 26 or 48 hour cooldown between the movement of your hearth. (this includes direct new building of the hearth and also smashing then building your hearth)

if there was a hearthfire cooldown or whatever there should be some additional teleportation mechanic with features similar to a hearthfire OR the cooldown should only apply if you have scents active OR what potjeh said about extending the timer

That would be too good.
Of course it would be tied with wagons actually being tied to people?

Are you assuming you're making a new ram each time instead of repairing?
