I was the first person to say that curios shouldn't be added as the ONLY way to get LP, that you should be able to grind a little bit.

Have you even tried W5 though? Like to get far enough to be worth a shit? It's actually very fun, foragable curios mean you do have to 'GRIND' to an extent to get better curios and swap them out and such.

You can hunt while doing that, meaning you get the whole out of town package at once.

game is way better.

This is where you fucked up. Never play with or run a /v/illage. Ever. That's how I started, and there's a big difference between playing with competent people and /v/irgins.

At least it was gameplay instead of 'search for x all day, wait till curio finishes, keep looking for x all day, make curios.'

It was a few /v/ros. It wasnt a /v/illage. We had like 5 members and we all had a good, non-trolling time together. And we never advertised for more members on /v/ because we knew exactly what would happen. Most of the people that initially came left, and after that, the remaining decent players stayed and we moved somewhere new, which was fun. Going to a desolate location, building your fort, maintaining everything, it had a nice survival feel to it. Now the game just feels empty and more of a chore rather than being a fun survival game.

Instead of spending your time foraging for things that you wanted, like ingredients, now you forage for things that you need just to play the game. Everybody is a forager now. Those that aren't are freeloading on someone else's work. It was a choice to forage before, now its a necessity.

Are you seriously calling that an argument?

Stop liking what I don't like.

It was an engaging, timewasting activity for me. Now to waste time you don't even play the game anymore.

your supposition that one should just wait for one's curios to finish is flawed. i, for one, have never been busier.
