"Force log off" on website

Every now and then you can get disconnected and can't log back into your character for at least 3-4 minutes. If this happens at a critical point or in a dangerous place this can spell disaster, it would be nice if there was a force log off option available under 'Account'.

It should log off only if you not engaged in battle. Like when you press log off in client, or close client. This would help if client crashes, or connection was lost for some time.

Yes, this is the problem is when it crashes. It took me ~5 minutes to log back in earlier when I had my guy at an unfriendly location, showed him as logged in, character still there, party still made, just wasn't actually 'logged in'.

Engaged in battle you can log back in with no problems.

that happened to me once, during a "raid", where the window closed by itself and my friends witnessed my character stand (still logged in) for the next two minutes. and then obviously i couldn't log back in at that spot. same thing as you?

I got "Already logged in", never even got to character selection screen, so yeah. I've had it happen a lot in W3, was annoying, first time I've noted it recently though.

This world has been very kind to me crash-wise, so it has been a while; but anyway, if I remember correctly, you can fix the "already logged in" bug by logging into and out of forums.
