That was actually the original plan, but it just wasn't feasible at the time at least.

No roofs (or allow roofs as another 'level' like walls where you can jump on them via ladders or something)

Do what Jackard said where when you walk into a house you get a cut away but it actually occupies the land it's on instead of being it's own world.

It's a fucking brilliant suggestion too, just allow you to terraform the land expansively when building the house, would probably need a lot of changing and something to accomodate walls and a 'roof', but it'd be neat, especially if you could attack certain parts like that.

I'm sure you guys could do it given what you've done so far, but I know you probably got bigger ideas too. Would be nice to see the whole wall/'building' system change in general so that buildings/walls don't have a set purpose, but you decide their purpose. Stone walls may be the same as stone walls on a house. -Shrug- So much potential here, and I know you guys probably have even more ideas to add to it that will make it more diverse.

I can't wait to see what happens with siege mechanics too, but this would be awesome to be part of that IMO.

I can say that we're all excited to see what ideas you've come up with jorb. I think this wall idea is great but I disagree with being able to go inside of them. On top of them makes more sense. I prefer walls that are solid!

Why not both?

And my two cents worth... I want a dry stone wall, no soak, no anything, just to pen the cows in and get rid of bouders, and to look prettier than the roundpole fence, sorry Jorb I love your work but what were you thinking?

.

That's fine by me, so long as those on the outside can't see in, and you'd have to fix "shooting through palisades ie give ranged attacks a line-of-sight requirement.

Everyone's for LoS afaik. :)
(Ofc lobbing as well for 'overwall' targets)
