in some games you're able to just get a massive
stock of food and other things while afking so you
can come back and be far better off without having
done anything at all.

In HnH some of the deadliest people sail along the
rivers just looking for someone to kill...

you wanting to fish or AFK?

I have to stop myself from smashing peoples boats when they're just sitting in the middle of the river...i dont understand why people think they'll be safe there =\

It should be a sport to wield a sledgehammer and smack afk people's boats when they're on rivers.

This. Sleeping in a lean-to creates a temporary ownership. Being in a boat (or cart, wagon, raft) should create the same temp ownership, thus causing scents to be dropped when attacked. This is frequently used by griefers just to get kills without leaving scents.

Completely agree with this, too! It's one thing to fish while surfing the web or something, another to just walk away from the computer or even leave the house. You're just asking to get killed.

HnH is a completely different game than most people are used to. I can only think of a few other MMOs you dare not go afk unless you're someplace 'secure'. 'Secure' in HnH is being behind a brickwall (layered preferably) with a hearth fire inside or underground (both preferably) and staying indoors where you can't be sniped at from the walls.

A worthy goal that is, sir!!

I was gonna smash some faggot's boat a week ago, but I thought it'd be funnier to scare the fuck out of him by having a guy in d helm be right by him when he finally gets back

I told him to quit doing it and he was like thanks and ran off

Just pay attention when you're playing the game. Danger lurks around every corner.

Maybe boats without people in them drift to the shore. or you only can destroy boats that empty.
I dont like to be hunted by some psychopatic freak trying to kill me by drowning me.

That's the fun part.

If you´re the psychopat maybe its fun, but I´m not.

...............And I always observe the gamewindow when i fish but there always come some freak hunting me and i have to circle around for 20 minutes or more til i get far enough from him to go to the shore and fasttravel home. It really freaks me out, I vote for armored boats!

Your asking for boat chases to be removed, i dont think you understand how retarded that is. If im chasing someone who killed/stole/vandalised something of mine and he jumps in a boat, i fucking better be able to chase his ass down, he shouldnt get a free pass just cause he jumped in a boat (it's already hard enough to catch someone in a boat, they dont need to be completely invulnerable)

Just make it require Vandelizium and Criminal acts (leave scents) to destroy a boat with someone inside.
