opinion on apples and oranges

To explain my idea would be to create sub forums for each direction on the map (north, east, south, west).
Ring of Brodgar < Game Play < Apples For Oranges < Northeast

I think this would increase trade between smaller players looking to sell goods and it would be nice not having to travel across the map to sell to a large village.
questions , comments or concerns?

A decent idea, but most people like to hide where they're located in order to keep a low profile. Would be good for hermit and small village trading yes, but you don't really see much of that on the forums.

Okay dude look the forums are only so big, okay? More boards you have, more space you have. Second of all, some people like remaining hidden, effectively cutting off trade with people on the run, so your idea actually reduces free trade, which is the exact opposite of your idea okay? Also, what if some people lived towards the center, so maybe the north could trade with the south, in your idea however, this would cut people in the north off from trade with 75 percent of the entire world. You could work around it by making new threads in each forum, but that would just be a hassle.

I think it's a decent idea, but there isn't really enough trade for this to be worth it. Instead, maybe you should try to start a trend of including your supergrid coordinates in the title of your thread. I'll certainly do it if I wind up doing much trading.

Nice compromise might be thread icons that symbolize parts of the world. Maybe a compass pointing towards an appropriate cardinal direction or something.
