Show item / show inventory

There should be a way to "show" another player an item from your inventory without placing it in container, or your whole inventory (maybe with mechanics close to describing someone).

Agreed. Someone before mentioned a "turn out your pockets" type feature.

This could easily be accomplished with a trade window. Maybe that would even be a legitimate method for discovering an item, too.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Yes, there sould be a way to show an item, without risk of it to be grabbed by someone.
And, well, yes in other MMOs a trade window is usually used for that purpose, but I somehow do not want that trade window in H&H. It seems to be foreign to this game.
Let there be a pure 'show' function, showing one item to another player, revealing quality(of course).

Trade windows are so bad, I recall reading those threads and laughing very very, very hard.

OPs idea would be fun though, you could just kill the guy for it, but you can't run off without scents and take it.

Maybe ability to put a link into chat and others can click on that "link" and see info about item. Just like in some other games...

I have some ideas similar to one suggested by Butko. But it is not so easy to implement. I'll try it some time.
