I've followed guide lines, read through last 5 pages, and havent found any familiar.

I literally had to read the Read Me First thread to make sure you were right. You weren't.

It says do a quick search. This means that nice little box with a search button next to it.

I just typed in "bridge" these are some post that came up:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=16060&p=184231&hilit=bridge#p184231
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15521&hilit=bridge

This was with a simple search. The low bar you claim to have jumped over.

The better way to search is to search something then click "advanced search" link under the number of results you have. Insert your same keywords then check "First post of topics only" box so that way it brings up only things which the original post had something about it. When I do that a lot more come up.

Doing these 2 thing can prevent this shit from coming up.

Wouldn't it be possible to implement a way of terraforming deep water into shallow water, therefore making some sort of artificial bridge? Both people and boats can go through shallow water.

Since bridges are not possible... how about ferry? It could be a combination of a road (waypoints) and a raft. So you can "call" raft if it is on the other side of the river.

Stone roads + road markers + (2) rafts + roundpole fences for corralling cattle (rafts can only carry one thing) = trail system.

I'm tempted to make an "Oregon Trail"-esque version. ^^
