You don't even need to be online doing anything, just log in once per day, change curios and logout. Voila new vandalism char that can be used to fuck up other people. Fun? If u have small dick or if you don't have girlfriend, yes.
If it takes you a week or two to get 100k lp, you're really bad at this game. Your attempt at patronizing is weak, your insults weaker, and your ability to avoid the point in general worst of all.
What does it cost to secure your belongings on a brand new character? 5 branches and a beautiful dream. What does it cost to break through that? A 20k skill, a 30k skill, and a 50k skill along with the risk of being killed by leaving a summonable scent. The exchange in this scenario is simple, it's a lot easier and cheaper to secure your belongings than to take or destroy them.
If you want to get fancy you can spend a bit more to actually buy Yeomanry, own the land, and then build a wall. If you run a single character and do this on your own you can have your wall up and secure in an hour or two, depending on the camp size. If you multiclient and run 3 or 4 characters, you can build the entire wall in ~15 minutes. Or if you have friends or neighbors helping you, just as good as if you were multiclienting.
The exchange never changes, it's easier, quicker, and cheaper to establish defenses than it is to grief or raid. Considerably even.
If you make new character you need to just wait and be logged in so you can change sliders to full peaceful and change. If you are gonna burn curios at lower learning rate good, but you still need to spend same time to get LP and you burn more curios. Also I was telling for new character so 10 int and maybe 10 from gear if you have anything spare lying around. What is a point spending int food on alt that is only leveled to get vandalism and fuck others around. It will get killed in days. And this tactics can be used to steal good q clay. Make alt, go dig 100 clay, get that clay to your main and spend it fast, leave HF of alt somewhere in I don't know where and leave runestone beside: thanks you for you clay. They can easily summon it and kill it. You got clay worth several pearls while they got only a kill on alt with 100k LP that you can mass produce this days anyways.
If you get alt to 100k LP even faster than in one week even worse. You just proved that system is even more bad that I thought.
So what does new system solve?
Nothing.
People still mass bots everything.
People can easily make griefing and stealing/vandalising alts without risk of their main to be punished.
People can play this game not even being playing it actually.
Of course with old system we had botting to and botting should be addressed with other solutions. New system was only a wrong solution for a wrong problem.
But if devs "allow" botting to continue then we are all ok with that. If someone can bot then everyone can bot.
But botting will slowly destroy this game as there will be no point in playing because we will have scripts for everything and no need to actually sit behind computer and click around.
It is cheap and easy to get defenses up, but it is also very cheap and easy to get griefing character up when you get metal curios or enough perc*expl on main to forage good curios.
Also there is no more point in walls anymore as we get new ways to jump over walls each week. This week introduced charter stone bug.
Also there is no more point in having yeomanry except for making a claim where stuff won't decay. Because every griefer has griefing alts or impenetrable multiple vaults. (as I read in one thread someone had 10 vaults and it is almost impossible to get in all 10 fast enough before they build another vaults).
So tell me now what is all point? You have defense that can easily be overtaken with someone playing more than a month.
All was because of botting and new system made leveling alts even easier if not peace of cake.
