Just don't try to make money off of it and you should be ok.

Best of luck to you. I will be impressed if you give it functionality.

Hope jorbtar don't decide to nix it - or Jackard decides to lock it.

Collision for map borders are in. Now I have to figure out how to make simple way to put in game objects and add collisions for them as well. :)

Just curious I know you're probably going for authenticity somewhat here, but what are the chances that this could double as testing for graphical layouts? For example an auto mode where everything is instantly built so that you can make layouts, for whatever you want?

i don't care about source code, i do care about art, graphics.
but seems it is not copyrighted at all. so question is removed.

Maybe you should read a bit deeper, like the link in the first section on the client source code copyright page:

Client Source Code

The source code for the Haven game client is available publically, subject to certain terms. The purpose of this document is to describe the philosophy behind this and what it means to any user of the code (that might be you!) in practice. For the nitty-gritty details of the copyright terms, please see the COPYING file in the client source tree, a copy of which is available online.

In there, it says (under the section about resource files):

- lib/haven-res.jar
This file is not actually distributed with this source tree, but
is downloaded from Haven's web server as part of the default
target of the Ant build file. It is the file containing all the
data files with game content
. In particular, it is necessary for
actually connecting to our game server and playing, and it also
contains some graphics for "bootstrapping" the client (which
could be replaced if you so wish).

Its contents are owned by us, Fredrik Tolf and Björn
Johannessen, and we reserve all rights to it.

[/quote]
(bolded for emphasis)

Basically, my interpretation of what I've read on the client is that everything is copyrighted. However, they may be granting license to use various sections of code, graphics, etc to do with as you see fit. I'm not a lawyer, and am only giving my (un)informed opinion based on the little bit of legal proceedings I've been involved with.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

For that I will have to study wiki more and probably get some more help from devs on some things to make them right and to easily and faster implement them.
Probably I will need to first try and debug stuff in real game as I have done before, but that will need for me to obtain all possible items in game, which is not possible for me now, because I would need some items that I don't have yet. I'm talking about precious stuff, like pearls, gold and silver items and ofc other rare items like druid cloak and other stuff that is implemented, but not used by everyone. But that part is still a little away so I will first try to focus on putting objects in world and building inventory and making interactions with objects (dynamic context menu).

As for graphics I will try to use as much graphics from Daji as possible. Also because I like it more than Jorb's one. I hope she will draw more and I hope I will maybe get some animated graphics for trees from her. :)

What it says in laymans terms for use is :
The code (client), go for it, use it as you please. At one point I believe they've said the client could be used as is for a clone because of the way it's written.

Graphics, and info contained within haven-res.jar is theirs, so using the graphics, you'd probably have to ask for permission.
