Afterdeath Life suggestion
(Загробная жизнь: идеи)
I think that after death of Hearthling may stay somewhat bigger, than a little skeleton. Maybe, night Ghost or zombie?
I suggest to make real with some mystique Hearth magic rituals allow to create 24 hours Ghost-hearthling of kin or Ancestor, that can be loaded as usual hearthling, and will be a copy of hearhling alive, exept that ghost can't do physical job or control claim, and can walk through walls and doors... Ghost has cloth equipped before die, but cannot unequip anything(exept helmet). Also I suggest to add ability to resurrect a skeleton(to a skeleton) or a recently died hearthling(to a zombie) for a time, that depend from Psyche(and, maybe, from Magic Skill). You can memorize your undead slaves(automatically sets name of hearthling), also you can control them. Your undeads has 65% of stats, that they have when was alive, and 120% of strenght... Also zombies has armour that was equipped before resurrecting...
P.S. Sorry for my bad english...

I'm failing to see how this is entirely practical, because, if I read correctly, people could just use the ghosts for defending their village, with no risk of dying. Some way to summon your ancestors and gain some of their LP from talking to them would be fun, but other than that the idea would either be entirely pointless or extremely over powered. Another possibility of it being to walk through walls and buildings is an amazing amount of scouting capabilities with, once again, no risk.
It's much easier to hate than create.

I've liked the idea of ghost but not in this way or any of the others. I think possestion could be nice and it would involve using your psyche stat against someone else's intel or perception stat.

What about death signs that appears when a hearthling dies from a bad death? Yeah I ripped it off of Demons' Souls.

Like being mauled by a bear, you touch it and somehow recreate a scene in a ghastly way, you see a ghost "hearthling" in the same motion right before being mauled by a "ghost bear". Then it vanishes and you can watch it happen over and over again.

The problem is, while it is fun and all, it's more of a scouting tool to know who killed that character too...

Maybe it requires stats and skills to do a ritual to summon the dead to tell you who killed them?

I mean, we have scents yes, but once they vanish, that's that.

My friend's game will have zombies though.

This doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Explication and new suggestions

No, ghosts can't do anithing real. Thay can talk with others, but cannot kill or damage. Peoples with psyche lower thant 15 cannot ever see them.

Claimed zones are safe from ghost if they not allowed prospecting. Ghost is just a possibility to talk with dead friend and show to him your zone - completely useles but make us happier...

Zombies and skeletons is summoned for a big amount of numen points, based on psyche of body(when it was alive) and Psyche of summoner. It may be a power of thousands worships... Skills of undeads is the skills that have both of summoner and summoned.

I think this idea will be better if in game will be added skill "Hearth magic"(or "Magic power") for the mages...
