My Trees is broked!!!

Yeah as you can tell from the amazing
subject (inspired by certain forum pplz)
every time i plant a tree it sits there as a
sprout for days while other peoples trees
seem to grow everyday, any idea wtf is up
with my trees? i miss actually having a
mulberry tree...

Suggestions? Precise info? Trollz gunna pick
on me? Magical GM powers?

There seem to be a lot of variable effecting the growth rate of trees. My oak trees seem not to be doing anything. Meanwhile three pines planted more recently a short distance away, planted at the same time and with only one point of quality difference between the three of them have grown at three different rates. One is full grown, one is half grown and the other now just big enough to take a branch off.

I think mulberries and oaks and such grow better in deciduous tree soil rather than in pine tree soil. It has taken just over a week to get a mulberry tree planted in pine forest soil to be large enough to produce mulberries I can eat.

You could try planting in a different location to see if that helps.

The quality of the seed, the planter's pot, the earth and the water all seem to make a difference in the quality of the tree. I don't know if tree quality effects the growth rate, but that is another possible variable. Maybe your are just having bad luck.

Well quality is not the issue, believe me
however soil differance would make sense
while i am growing an apple and a mulberry
tree on the soils i found their original trees
at and it's been 3 days with no growth and
they're seperated from everything, 3 blocks
at least on all sidesif you'd like a screen shot

I've got trees that haven't grown visibly for three or more rl days. I am giving my trees more time. I think this is probably not a bug, just bad luck with the variables. I expect the oaks could take real live weeks and the pines to grow the fastest on pine soil.

Different trees grow faster on different soil.
If you plant a fir tree on anything other than coniferous forest tiles, it'll grow slower.

It depends which forest tile, there's 2 kinds now, however we have no way of telling aside from the mini map.
On coniferous forest tile, everything but fir grows quick, on the other, everything else grows.
