group/flank system?

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

group/flank system?

so i was just thinking of a few suggestions,sadly all of them suggested <_< .
and then this idea came,since 1 man armies of elite players basically can eat newer guys/small weaker guys for breakfast.
how would it be if groups got a bonus/buff for fighting in a group against the same enemy (like an herd of aurochsen or a group of ants).
and the max amount would be 7%(because 10% can be quite high amounts for better people,amirite?)
1 guy= no buff.
2 guys= 1% extra dam
3 guys= 3% extra dam
4 guys= 5% extra dam
5 guys= 7% extra dam
but because ive never experienced serious combat or anything against elites i dont know if i just suggested a 'wtf' thing or not.
(and i think this will recieve quite a bit of flaming,but just wanted to share my thoughts anyway :roll: )

Ya, that's not how combat works. If numbers have any idea what they're doing they'll win. That's the problem, no one ever has any idea what they're doing.
Groups don't need any buffs, players just need to figure out how to actually fight.

and sacre,even if the suggestion is bad there i see no reason for this topic to be closed unless im breaking a rule i didnt know of.

They could just opportunity knocks for a percentage of their defense even if they had terrible combat stats. It doesn't take very long to get the ip for that and then throw punches to deal piercing damage. UAC does a nasty 30% so even a punch of swordless newbies can start causing serious damage once they've eaten away your defense bar. They could even just mass throw sand at you to stop your ip gain if there were enough of them.
