I, however, think you should bring back LP for killing animals, giving a bit of a reward for hunting.

Perhaps there should be hunting curios that are worth a shit. Boar tusk, deer antler and bear tooth are not worth studying at any ql at any point in the game. And neither is the rare Dark Heart, which is barely better than cat gold at 10ql — even though you'd think it should be pretty awesome since it's so rare.

From a bear/troll, I assume a dark heart would be pretty good. Anyways, I do agree with this. Preferably something more common then the "Rabbit's Foot", etc. Maybe an "odd scruff of fur" or something.

The reward for hunting is all the floatsams you find while looking for animals.

I can honestly say if the LP system isn't renewed to the old ways i will not be coming back for world 8 or salem for that matter.

They didn't make it harder to farm alts? All i have to do is log in with my alts and put a firefly and something rare on the study list and log em out... come back in 2 hours with 10,000 LP

The only reason 3 of those people are playing because i was at my friends house and i was like lets check if a new world is out. They didn't really want to but i convinced them to play again. I soon after regretted the choice.

you do realise how little 10k lp is? if that is all you do you are better of grinding buckets for hours on end, to actually get somewhere you still have to work for your curio's, and when you do have a bit of time free from curio gathering, you use it to improve your infrastructure or something like that.

Though I don't miss the stupid unbutchered animal carcasses of w1-4 that were everywhere.

So a dragonfly produces 800lp (base) in 4 hrs. This is nowhere near 10,000lp in 2 hrs. A person who really plays can get several hundred thousand lp a day, so congratulations for failing.
