This is a lie. Everyone has Tried to do it. It's fucking hard and tiring and you get harassed endlessly. By the end of it, if you didn't have twenty combatants surrounding it then just some alt would run up to it and break it. It's not as easy as getting one guy to sit there for 24 hours. You need a large village sitting there for 24 hours. Not even in shifts, just all of you on the entire time.

in order for them to not be target able by arrow fire they need to be 41 spaces from the wall correct. so at minimum that is 164 spaces of perimeter if they stand dead center. what is to stop someone from picking an isolated area of fence and breaking in from there. on average a large enough town to have people on all the time would have over 1000 spaces of perimeter if not alot more. no one does daily recon on there wall.

Actually, everyone with half a brain patrols their walls daily. Have you ever played the game?

Sure, I'm listening.

I have an idea say a server macro that randomly every 25-50 minutes throws a chat que for a particular character. and boots bot unless answered in a minute. i have seen it implemented successfully else where,.

and say if a bot randomly chats character that would be picked up in server logs and could be detected.

All it takes is 5 minutes a day to not die. And i think every one can summon up 5 minutes to avoid redoing months of work. Though, i guess i wont even comment on it cause i saw alot of places get ghost rammed in world 5. But honestly, i think that falls under the town being completely retarded category.
