This game needs private servers more than anything.

This game needs private servers more than anything.

If you think about it every successful game has private servers and the reason is because they have great gameplay without griefers. I could name off multiple games that are like haven and hearth and use private servers. Terraria is a great game made by 2 Developers and 2 graphic designers. They made millions making this amazing 2d game and selling it on steam and the best part of the game allowed the use of private servers. You also can't forget about Minecraft... I don't know how many times i've gone afk on a boat for 10-20 mins and I would come back dead because some random griefer went by and wanted to be a douchebag. My point is there isn't anything bad that could come from this. I've been embarrassed to show this game to any of my friends but I'd actually show them if the game didn't lag or have Private servers.

Every game you mention has NPC combat and goals. I don't think you realize how absolutely boring a private Haven server would be.

EDIT: I don't mean to sound trite but if you really want a non-griefer experience then play SimCity or FarmVille or ProgressQuest.

its not like people are forced to play private servers its their choice and I'd much rather play HnH with 20 of my real life friends than 1 other person online...

But what's the point? Seriously think about what playing Haven with no active aggressors would be like. What would you do? Build a village? Then what? There's no endgame. If you just like the feeling of progress you get by completing various time consuming goals with no opposition then there are plenty of other games that suit that purpose much nicer (by actually having in game goals for you to work to achieve).

I understand that you're apparently a juvenile who tries to respond to criticisms with coarse language and petty insults instead of engaging in discussion to explain your views.

Good luck getting anywhere with that attitude.

dude people like you are annoying... You have no legit reasoning for dismissing the idea. The point is I don't wanna play with people like you I want to play with my real life friends in HnH with bad ass mods and texture packs. the reason I don't want to have a conversation with you is because your point of view is retarded....

Use the search function...this thread is popping up like once a week. You didn't even try to understand the games premise. It has nothing to do with Terraria or Minecraft. Go play those then.

Also, you are getting a timeout for one day. Not only did you open another useless thread, it is even the second you are making on this topic and you bumped the other too. Get yourself some approrpiate manners.
