and as I just PMed back. People are willing to kill you over a chicken in the game if it feels there need. But trading like how we view the game is based on what we have seen. Not much = people that do not trust anyone or get flustered over being the food source.

But a half year real time of playing is not the same for everyone. Life is not fair and neither is this game. Start with 20+ people you can trust with your life have a fully powered village by the end of the first week That is how it feels from what I have read and felt. Trading becomes less worth it as time goes on.

People are usually (hopefully) less inclined to kill you, or rip you off in a trade, because it will ruin their reputation forever, The few people I've seen do it have all quit the game because no one wanted them in their village, and no one would trust them.

Though you do seem to have the right frame of mind, you just need to go out and experience the world a bit more :)

But the idea and scale or subjective as as I set it up briefly right now, only works with metals and curios. But then again I have also played D&D where the coin scale is this:

100 copper coins = 1 silver
100 silver coins = one gold

and that is just in scope of this game.

Even then trade bars are easier (as you can go by weight or the amount of coins made).

But this does not even equale the chaose of the current system bur tries kind of weekly still to give a scope to it.

holy shit, you are retarded. literally retarded.

It was debunked and I was already told so, so no need to rub it in ok. It was a thought and if that onlone does not make you happy then even if I could have been on the right track.

I have stated that I only know what I know, an idea is an idea. If its not right then I was wrong. Nothing more. I know a small part of the game one that I need to think out of my little itty bitty box. If I am wrong I am wrong. No need to grind it in. (Which I have seen people do in another game just to kill any new ideas.)

My idea failed that is just how it goes.

Edit: I was even told by PM and talked about it. The idea sucked and was even explained (or I thought of it myself after the brain storm I had). That it could not work based of many factors. I am used to the kill or be killed mental state of the game, so it is harder to see the bigger view of what things are worth. For that I am sorry and will be quite again.

You'll be lucky to get more than a few people to agree on a base. Best thing is a point based system like is currently used. If you can come up with something in game that is worth 1 pt, then great. You've solved the problem.

Use one of the many trade threads as a base. Simple as that. Or am I missing something?

No, you're definitely missing something. I'm not sure what it is myself, but there are those who just have this "need" to regulate everything and make it fit into nice neat "standard" packages.

EHy dudes...about trade i have an idea. Now that we don't have ring of brodgar anymore, trades are hard. Not really to be honest because there is the idol teleport. What is bad is the fear of the "evil trader" that will kill you, and will steal all your things in your town killing your main or your alts etc etc.

We could build our ring of brodgar with a man that own the idol and add trades each time there is a need, and the town is totally empthy, just a couple of crates and an idol. And that man have an alliance with some main faction so, if someone kill the trader and leave scents, the main faction can easily find him and kill him if they like, and gain from an easy raid.

A little organization between few players whould be more than enough. A killer, an idol boss and..nothing more to be honest.

I'm sure you'll say this is a dumb idea but anyway, there is anyone that wanna help me with this idea? A sort of ring of brodgar for who don't want trade inside his village.

Just throwing this out there: The world 5 Climax trade thread had an equation based on weight, LP gain, time, etc for curiosities to determine their value. It worked really well. Each curiosity is priced correctly relative to one another.
