Let's not let this devolve into a fruitless discussion on getting LP for actions. Both of you have forum join dates of w3 or earlier, so it's a pretty safe assumption you both know how that system turned out. It encouraged botting more than anything else could have. The mods have pretty much taken a 'lock all threads' on this stance since w5 started nearly a year ago, and further discussion will just degenerate further. I'd like to hear some more about these small curio buffs, so please stick to that.
The problem now is 'alt-itis': making alts to do everything, even duplicate alts so that if your warrior dies, then you have 3 or 4 to replace it. Death in a perma-death game should never be trivial, and that's probably the best way to describe the current situation for any faction or even hermit that has developed an economy. I had about 4 alts last world just because I could keep them all fed with all the extra stuff I produced as a hermit.
