If this would ever happen, make sure your post count doesn't raise there...
Hope you have a great day

I used to think Pain shitposted all the time to raise his post count then realized that he was genuinely interested. I don't think anyone gives a shit about that.

Explain again why we would want to cultivate the shitposting that makes up a Hel thread.

God forbid the idea of spamming one subforum/thread with posts to raise postcount, how horrible.

I actually like the idea as a place for certain people to go and vent, although as burg said it would more than likely spill over into other subforums and cause them (the mods) more work in the end anyway.
On the other hand you could say there's loads of other places for you to go and shitpost but not related to HnH.
Although I guess one could always implement it to see how it went and just delete if didn't work.

Another game I play pretty much lets it go no holds barred so people can troll eachother with reckless abandon. The threads always fizzle out by themselves after everyone says their peace.

What it does is say stop people from following each other around the forums just to harass them over everything they post and clogging up legitimate threads with petty squabbles.

Seems like it'd work good here, a lot of the How Do I threads and apples or oranges have a lot of unchecked animosity going on in them that muddies it all up and creates situations that mods then have to come in and pick apart.

Another game I played had one of these no holds barred subforums so people could troll each other with reckless abandon and it pretty much made everything worse.

Been there. Second that. Just shits up the whole forum after so long.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

how did it make everything worse?

I've been a part of several forums that had that kind of outlet and it never went wrong.

people who get creepy and personal don't need a no holds barred forum for that... im sure they find other ways
