eagle = flies offering some speed, and allows obstacles to be ignored. - can't attack.

I was thinking of possibly an animal (like a bear) that moves slow but gets some strength bonus. Not entirely sure.
Magic of transmutation would be really over powered if not regulated carefully, say a steady stamina loss, no item consumption (such as tea), transformation back to human if stamina hits 10%, and could be the result of alchemy requiring lots of items.
Just a fun idea, I think.
