Time Consuming

This game feels like an app on my iphone or facebook. You need to waste time in order to progress in the game. I'm in the position where there is nothing to do but wait in order to discover new items to obtain more recipes so I could do more things. I also need LP so I could buy more skills, which also takes time. In my opinion, nothing should take longer than a day. I really hope this could be changed.

This is your second "recommendation" post in the last 20 minutes or so and both of them show your ignorance of the game and how little you've actually played. Play the game for a couple of weeks before popping off with these "ideas".

If you have nothing to do in this game, you're not playing it right.

I have little to nothing to do, unless I start working on projects that will give me absolutely nothing. Other than that, there isn't anything I can do. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

If you can't start building up your place, start chopping and hauling wood. You won't ever have enough lumber. Forage, forage, forage. There is always foraging to be done. You'll need food and copious amounts of string, not to mention curios. Hunt rabbits for their meat, leather and bones. Again, you'll need plenty of that in the future even if you don't need it right now. Go fishing. It's only like 100 LP to purchase that skill. If you don't yet have a boat or can't make one (boat building is pretty expensive iirc) walk until you find one. The gamescape is littered with them. That's what I can think of off the top of my head though I'm sure there's still plenty more.

I'm stacked with resources already. I highly doubt I'mma run out of my resources in the next weeks to come. Was LP gained from just doing stuff in the last world? If it was like that, this new curiosity thing is not working too well. Something tells me it's a way to keep players from staying online so the servers could be more stable. I donno, I still have nothing to do. I honestly want to get on and progress, but the only real progression I'm getting is being on every hour or so to add another curiosity to my study slot after one gets finished.

I see now, he's one of the "dissenters" from when World 5 started but knows he'll be banned if he outright starts shit about the curio system so he's trying to sneak his objections in. InB4 lock.

I might have played World 5 for roughly an hour. My first experience of the game was beyond horrible. The starting area is so user unfriendly and confusing. It would of been 10x better if character creation was done with an interface. A hearth secret makes little to no sense for someone who just started playing the game. I had to search for my friend in-game for hours because I didn't know what a hearth secret was. I ended up not even finding him and then that's when I quit. So technically I didn't even get to play the game. To top it off, the lag is still the same as it was today.

Now I'm back with a fresh new look at the game with a new character. I like the game, but it needs improvements. I don't see why a crafting game should make players wait for long periods of time to continue progressing. This is not an iphone, nor a facebook app. In order to get people playing, you need to allow them to advance. I feel limited, in ways I feel I shouldn't be. Surprisingly I thought I was gonna replace Wurm Online with this game. It was doing just that until I got to this phase. Also, banned for talking about the curiosity system? What rule did I break?

I already have made all of my crafts. I can not progress because I'm required to either discover something new or wait for LP. Very unwelcoming on these forums though. I've been told to keep my mouth shut and that I'll get banned over a simple suggestion.

Nothing to do? so you have a b'wall? you have enough curio's stocked to last a week? you have lvl5 mine nodes? I doubt it, so there is something to do. IF you dont have the lp to get those things yet then go out and gather clay and start making bricks, burn your iron etc. there is always somethign you could be doing
