So it actually is very similar to a social game. By the way, I've got back to where I've ended off with my ancestor. I once again am finding myself doing nothing and waiting for skin to be turned into hide, hide to be turned into leather, crops to grow, and curiosities to finish. The only thing I can possibly do right now is deforest my whole area and eat.
For those of you who think this is intended and it's perfectly fine, why is Haven & Earth getting and overhaul and Salem is not following the same system? I just wish this game was more of a full time experience, rather than a part time.
the curio system is probably the easiest way to progress a charachter, because really, you dont need to do ver much to gain lp. u go forage, slot in ur curios, go to bed, and presto u have lp. forage again, add curios, and woots, you got more lp!
if thats not an easy way to progress in a game i dont know what is. I went away on holiday and my lovely villagers kept filling me with curios and i came back with over 2 mill lp, whilst i wasnt even playing.
When i hermitted, there was tons to do. sure first few days are slow as ure gaining lp, but once u have basic skills and ure foraging on a daily basis so ure getting good curios, then there is tons to be doing.
theres so many dimensions to this game to explore, i'm finding it difficult to udnerstand how you think there isnt anything which you can do. Have you set up a nice camp? built your palisade? hunted a little? went fishing? foraging? farming? tried to prospect? found a cave to explore? explored ur lcoal area for good soil, water or clay? started baking? a tree farm? attempted silk? even cheese? tamed any animals? produced urself with any leather items?
I login and find half the stuff i need to do, i cant manage even int he length of time i play. I farm what i need, produce flour to bake, sort cheese, make rennet, milk the cows, shear the sheep, check my silk production, produce curios in mass for village, go forage, craft items for village, check trade items and location, check walls, collect water, make leather, make sausages.......theres is plenty to do.
