So my idea is that when someone aims at you, you should be immedietly warned by the game. This could be countered somehow by stealth.
Seriously, these raiders today won't even bother to melee you and leave you mere chance of escaping.

Archers are even less powefull against Meele.
Because:
Meele: must have high protection, high armor, less taken damage, high damage output (Pro: keep moving Con: cant walk behind walls)
Archers: must have high MM. Perc., low armor(if they want to be more powerfull), taken much meele damage, high damage output, (Pro: can stay behind Walls/Rivers Con: need to stay at place for aiming)
As you can see Archers are the opposite of Meele (easy to find it out)
and some people got the "know how" to avoid ranged fighters.
The Winner is: MEELE
(Maybe u realised that theres no way to upgrade/nerf Ranged/Meele Units)
