Enders radar

Postby Apsilon » Thu Jun 07, 2012 7:22 pm

i know this has probably been suggested a million times by angry noobs that get snuck up on but what if we didn't have enders radar? wouldn't the game be more interesting and i don't mean just shutting mine off but like if we all didn't have it. it would make ambushes and tactical fighting allot more interesting idk just a thought post me your ideasss.

I personally think ender's radar is a gift from an almighty power. Without it I'd be dead on a riverbed.

The idea for tactics is alright, but then again I'm not a militaristic player so it doesn't appeal to me

I agree with you about it making the game more interesting but my neighbour has died so many times this world from boar attacks that they have basicaly got absolutely no-where, not even got a pallisade. I'm actualy amazed he/she is even still playing - i'm pretty certain i'd have given up by now if that kept happening to me.

I'm not sure why they don't have enders client - i have told them about it. :?

I've never actually played HnH since the introduction of radar, auto-aggro, auto-hearth and these newer tools. Honestly from my point of view not being immersed with them, I think it takes away from the gaming experience. The less you do and the more that's done for you, the less you are actually playing the game, that's why I also have a stance against botting.

What do you mean auto hearth, and auto agro?

I semi agree, everyone should have to use the same client to play, regardless of what features it has.

Auto-Hearthing (when turned on) makes it so that as soon as another person appears on the mini-map, you auto-hearth.

auto hearth Ender does - you have to check the boxes on the right side of general tab to enable that...

Would be neat if everyone had to use the default client.

The thing I don't fancy is the whole

Cruising around the forest foraging

Walk past a tree

BEAR

BEAR OUT OF NOWHERE

BITE SLASH DEAD

Lol :P

Well the client window size and the opaque trees/structure is what needed work. I would be happen with just those two changes. Sadly we are at the stage now where we are pretty much spoiled by making everything very easy for us all.
