This x100. never have your HS set, there's no real point Always put the Hearth inside your house, I tried telling people in my former village this, but they just thought I was crazy, and sure enough a scrub spawned inside our pali because someone didn't have their HF inside and had an easy to guess HS

I like to relay this story for those that don't keep a HS set...

About a year ago, a bug was found with the system. Anyone that didn't have a HS set had a "random" one, but it was the same for everyone. Someone tripped across it and spammed a ton of people with it. If you keep a random one of at least 12 characters, odds of anyone actually guessing it are so slim that it'll be a miracle. (You'll be struck by lightning first.) After all, you're talking about 72^12 since a HS is case sensitive. That's just letters and numbers, not including any possible symbols.

Oh, the bug was fixed, but it's a good story for anywhere you can choose to keep a password or not. You're always better having the password set, even if you just use a random sequence.
