Bounty hunting

What do you do to prove, in game, that you killed some one? What do you do if they want them alive? Adding the ability to tie an unconscious player up with a rope and then lift them would allow rangers to bring back their prey for interrogation, or execution... Thus allowing bounty boards and a more approachable justice system. The tied player should fit on a cart or the back seat of a boat as well.

Adding the ability to tie an unconscious player up with a rope and then lift them would allow everyone to make slaves very easy...

lol, and the tied player should be able to get out, if their skill related to untieing, is higher than your skill related to tieing

When the player wakes they would make a Strength attempt against the quality of your rope, is what I was thinking. And yes slaves could be made. And freed by bounty hunters/rangers. Add a new scent for tracking based on if the tied player carried a scent when tied.

Any system like this creates a scenario worse than death, where a player cannot even inherit their old stats and skills. You just lock them in place and hold them indefinitely. It's as bad as walling new players -- in fact, you may be doing that too with the ability to lift them. I don't care what kind of role play you're into, you cannot create a system that lets you escape from leaving murder scents and subsequently fuck someone over worse than if they had died.

If anything it would just leave MORE scents to follow... SLAVER scents
