@Grable- He's a Siamese/American Shorthair mix. We adopted him from the ASPCA for free, he was about 3 months old. Most adorable little shitbag in the joint. Now he's bigger. And more of an asshole. But he's my asshole, so I guess that counts for something.

This was the love of my life, his name is Sirus, he was a lab/collie cross and had the most wonderful nature. Sadly I lost him to cancer a couple of years ago. I couldn't face having another dog so a friend bought me 'Seven' - not named after VB's kid, lol, she copied me! (It comes from a sci-fi character.)

It's a betrayal. I think your dog would prefer to see you with the another dog, not a cat.

- Nah, he liked cats - truth is, as much as I miss having a dog, I can't go through that again, I had to make the decision to have him put down, worst thing to happen to me to date. I love my cat, don't get me wrong - but it's not the same. Cats tend to be independant, selfish animals but a dog is just stupidly eager to please and therefore more affectionate and a more prominent part of the family.

@ Grim - when I saw your name I was instantly curious, - 'what kind of pet does grim have?' - I should've known!
