nope, all were stray cats in my neighborhood.

once upon a time, my deceased father saved a female cat who was horribly bullied by retarded kids, and she decided to live in our yard.

we noticed a male cat trying to hit on her and soon decided to visit us everyday.

they had 3 kittens, so we decided to take them all in, but a neighbor wanted to have one and gave one away. (his name was totti, no pics)

we moved to another house, and met this baby kitten in our new yard. she was so skinny, hungry and cold in winter and i couldnt leave her alone. looked for her mother or owner for a couple of months, asking around, putting posters everywhere, but couldnt find, so we took her in.

Started looking after my dads cat after he passed away. She followed me everywhere because I resemble him the most. Affectionate, can be kind of a bitch though.

Here she is in my truck.

@Jackard- That's almost exactly like what one of my friend's cat looks like, Atlas, he's a glorious creature for sure.

my family gifted her with a similarly ostentatious greek name http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra

goes with the 'bitch' part well, i think

I think tabby cats have the most glorious markings, i've been told Seven has a Burmeze streak in her due to her markings and possibly some Siameze due to the fact that she 'talks' continuously and I do mean continuously!

Lol, Seven has grown up the same, I can't remember when I last had a hand without a scratch mark on it somewhere, but she is playful and loving most of the time.

@ Tonky -

I would have liked to have done that with the stray i'm having the problem with but, he doesn't like Seven and won't leave her alone so it would be imposssible, plus she is now terrified of him anyway and would never forgive me.
From asking around i've discovered that the 'suspected' owners moved around christmas time and left the cat behind - idk if this was on purpose or not, and no-one seems to have a forwarding address.
I haven't seen it for a couple of days now though, the RSPCA did say they would look out for it though, so i'm hoping they've found him.

@ julian12it - that is such a good picture, he looks sooo cute. :D

i hope either you find him in a safe place or he finds his home.

but yeah, taking in a stray is harder than people think in general, especially when you already have one or two, they all get real jealous and i hear they often dont get along with a new comer.

we had her in a cardbox in yard for a week till all the health checks and shots were done and flees were gone, and then moved her inside but caged in with a curtain for a while on purpose, not to abuse her but to calm others down, according to vets advice. it was terribly hard and heartbreaking for me because you know how lovely a baby kitten is, but we couldnt make other cats too jealous and stressed out and all. they got along as time went by (almost 3 yrs now) and they are fine together now, but still the last black kitty sometimes gets chased by others. a younger male accepted her at once and became friends, two others did later, but the oldest mother cat still rejects her and never rests together. (and most often the mother cat tries to occupy me by herself.)

p.s.
alg and boshaw, im still waiting for your doggy pics!

Part of it is Cleo is a primadonna that thoroughly hates other pets. Has been the source of a lot of unnecessary strife between me and some previous roommates
