More viable highend curios

Postby Thijssnl » Thu Sep 12, 2013 11:38 pm

There is a pretty limited menu of highend curios for those not in possesion of -all- the games resources at a high level.
I know I should write this out properly etc and will try to work it out in due time!
An example: Combining more curios.
We have Shocked Frog + Frog's Crown + Royal Toadstool = Prince Charming now, but what about an arrangement of flower curios? Poppy flower + EdelweiB + Dandelion.

Feel free to add suggestions how to expand our current curiomenu.

A flower bouquet type of curio has been suggested since world 5 atleast, and I agree with it, mainly if Inkweed is added to it as well, as Inkweed has practically no use. I remember someone suggesting adding a silk thread to that as well to tie the whole crafting up.

Although thinking about it, I don't think an Edelweiss should be used in a crafted curio, especially another "high-end" one. Mountains are already ridiculously monopolized as far as foraging, and Edelweiss are decent curios in their own right by themselves (unlike toadstools and Frog's Crown). I think a more mid-level curio using Blood Stem, Inkweed, and Dandelions (objects more prominent, diverse, and in some cases underused), would be much better in a new crafted curio.
Hearthlings: Marona; Chamberlain (retainer alt), Vincavec (shaman of the Dryad Wells Forest)

I like that idea.

What about soldier ant + soil + glass to make an ant farm?

I agree, had not thought it through that far as it was just an example but you make a good point regardless.
Like I said in the OP if enough people come with decent suggestions I'll add them to OP.

Primitive Doll + Straw Doll + Porcelain Doll + Board + 4 stick + Linen = Doll's House

Linen + Stick (must be LS, and LP gained slightly depends on current authority) = Flag of (Village)

Bone glue + Stick(s) + 4 Silk Thread + 2 Nuggets = Tiny Ram

More Combination items like this would be cool. Especially with the items that currently have no need to be high q, eg ropes and bone glue
