Farming partnership

Postby Loopoo » Mon Dec 21, 2009 5:07 pm

I'm a lowly farmer, and i'd love to have cows and such, but sadly I am not built to fight cows. I can never hit them and I don't want to waste LP on fighting when it can go into farming.

So, I propose I team up with a miner, or someone else who wants a farmer to tend their fields. I'll plant new crops, look after their cows and just make a crap load of wine. I'll be happy to move out of my home, seeing as someone recently thought it would be funny to deforest any tree within a mile radius of my homestead...

So, to sum it all up:

- I will farm, a lot, and tend your fields, make sure you've got a steady supply of good wheat / hops / whatever coming in
- I'll make wine (beer too, though I hate beer, annoying black FEPs)
- I'll feed the cows
- I'll breed the cows if you want
- I'm no baker, but I can make bread for you to fill you up.

All I ask for in return is either metal bars or a few cows of my own (I know cows are expensive as hell, so I wouldn't expect to get one straight away, nor would I expect to get many. Hoping to make a good friendship and flourish under their rule. Will be nice.

I am interested to know what your farming skill is. I might be able to help you with this kind of arrangement if it is suitably high. I need someone to farm, and specifically to plant a lot of high q trees for me. I can supply the tree seeds and all high q materials and pots.
I am also interested in some ordinary crops as well.
This is all pending a reasonably high farming skill, so let me know and we can figure an arrangement out if you have enough skill to suit my needs.

I have level 20 farming skill. Is that high enough? Within the week I can get it up to 30 perhaps 40. Is that alright?

Although, if you offered me a job, i'd steadily increase, and i'd put all my LP into farming. I'm also almost full-nature.

Unfortunately I am looking for someone with significantly more farming skill. Thanks for the prompt reply though, and good luck with the cattle.

Thanks for the nice responses. Didn't come across as a snob. Also, yeah, cheers. Hopefully, if you ever need someone in the future, i'll be high enough to help.

Just for future reference, what level were you thinking of?

You don't know what you're talking about. 'Face' is not a pseudonym for any other account.

Ah yes, as the good Sir Cain has mentioned I am certainly not that fellow, or any other fellow that has likely been heard of before. I am relatively new to the game, and have not really been of much influence to the world. I try to stay out of the political crossfire. I was looking for someone with a good chunk of farming for a tree farmer, but I have since found someone to help me with this matter.
