Security Settings Won't Allow Me To Play?

Hello internet, I recently downloaded the game and made an account etc, but its being blocked by some random security setting. I ran through all of my general security settings and I tried disabling and enabling random things. At one point I even had ALL security settings disabled and it still wouldn't run for the same reason. I'm out of options here and was wondering if any of you kind people here could help me figure this out?

Server is down right now. Look at bottom of home page.

When it comes back up. I'd bet you will be fine

Well it says "Your security settings have blocked a self-signed application from running". I don't know if that helps any though.

You could try to fix it but it would be better for you to get a different client. The modified clients have lots of features not found in the default. try this. http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=33805 Any trouble installing it is usually addressed in that thread also.

Oh, I forgot to say that I have a mac, so that particular client wouldn't work for me, do you have any alternate clients for mac that you would recommend?

Its all java so it will work on mac, you just need to start the client differently.
