Do you have calipers?

Are you still looking for warriors or any other people to help?

What is calipers? I don't think I've encountered this item in game :?

We really aren't designed to be a fighting force, we mostly deal with petty thievery and or newbie bandits as well as tracking scents. We mostly try to resolve things through words and not steel.

I call upon the almighty powers, JorbTar to resurect this thread!!

ALIVE!!!
~~~~~%%~~~~~%%%%~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have updated the Original post to include new details regarding recruitment!
We have expanded our claim and our walls, and are seeking new blood to join our ranks. We have a large seperate brickwall specially designed to take the influx of new players with varying space allowed depending on requirements, although you may need to discuss the options available when you get here.
A copy and paste from the OP ensures below:
Recruitment! and taking in those that need refuge!
Has your palisade been bashed down again, are you tired of repairing and getting no where? Well the GNN is currently recruiting! We have a large space, specifically built for new players, or players that wish to seek a home. Plot sizes vary depending on how many people you'll be sharing your plot and what tasks you intend to take out. You will be part of our main village, however, this new brickwall is located a fair distance away from our main village but still under the same village claim.
You will get access to whats nessisary to do tasks, such as mines, industry although it is still being setup.
We also offer plots of land, under our village claim, but outside of our walls. This means that you can still live the hermit life, have almost 100% control over what, where and how you build, but it must be under our village claim (that way we can set you up with CR's and such, and you still have access to industry and the like)
We have space for around 20-50 players, so please apply today, we'd love to have more people in our soon to be bustling village :)
So don't be shy, apply today :)
Ok so I see the map and am reminded why this game is so awesome but is there a short cut of finding where I am?
Some clients have built in functions that give you the co-ordinants, though I haven't used them before so I'm not much help on that front, you could try in the client creators thread.
Alternatively, check for surrounding land marks, like expansive grassland/moor/heath, villages, mountains or lakes and try to locate them on the world map. It also helps to know which side of the world you're on but if all else fails, try those suggestions :)
Anemones client has the best geolocation feature I have seen so far altough I have not used that many clients. You play with Anemone, go next to river and press minimap button that will show coordinates and option to open them in browser. Be careful though, it may get wrong co-ordinates if similar terrain exists somewhere else so better check couple of times along the river.
