I think metal buckets were suggested before,but not sure.

Having metal buckets on you in real life will cause you to slow down due to the weight. There has to be a downside to having metal buckets with you.

I think this is nice place to mention that Hearthling can carry 200 kilograms + weight of 2 empty barrels and boat. Boat with 2 full barrels can be lifted.
