:v my point is, a man with some brain wouldnt start a thread to talk about his own failed episonage, hoping to win sympathy from others for being killed. a spy not realizing he was already outed is just too miserable, but i guess all he cares for is attentions, not minding being a clown to get laughed at.

regarding account thieves, no matter how the things go, no matter who does, no matter who offered, trying to get hands on other players accounts is always lame.

no, amanda, the point here is rather that joco is joco even when he is trying to play another identity, unlike how patch did.
ignore those who just want to accuse foul plays for anyone anyways, but being revealed as a spy is a total failure and most spies - game or real - who are decent enough accept the reputation they get by their own deeds. thats the price they choose to pay.

Who cares about reputation in a virtual world? o god, there are people who takes this game too seriously, like it would be their only life.

It does matter when you are trying to establish as someone that is reliable and trustworthy. More social options and mutually beneficial interactions are available when you have a good reputation, not to mention your words usually have more meaning. It is easy to dispel a bad reputation by making another account but a good reputation takes more work and time. Though something to note is that the latter also restricts you from some of the more shadier options such as spywork saboteur and other similar acts so it is not like good rep has all the advantage over bad or no rep (of course you can do that on another account if you are good enough to hide your persona).

It is also require for me since I need trust from other people to relay historical information from faction leaders/members and participants of events taking place (and for assurance, I never ask for any sensitive/classified data such as Hearthvaults and village war plans unless it no longer will affect the outcome since I myself do not want to disturb what will take place). I wouldn't have this luxury if I was a well known backstabber, not to mention people would hate my guts as soon as I open my mouth.

@Tonky, it is funny that I was using my masquerade skills to actually get away from everything rather than trying to get into someone ala trojan horse.

When ever it comes down to Jordan we are always going to see things from our own perspective of him, I don't know what else it is you expect. You lean towards the worst of him, lol, and I lean towards the best of him, the real Jordan probably lies somewhere in the middle, which is true of all of us. I'm not going to change that opinion simply because three or four people have expressed a different one, even if some of those people are also people I like.

Jordan is reliable and trustworthy, to me, and I'm sure to others too, but I can only speak from my experience of him, not anyone elses.

It is possible to like both of them, it's not the first time I've had friends who come into conflict with Jordan, (Painhertz, lol) my choosing to speak out or stand up for one in the context of what I believe, is not then an attack on the other party. Well, it most definitely is not in this instance, as Troll has always known Jordan has been a friend to me here since I started, I would have expected him to understand that.

No real harm was done to Troll, Jordan got into Kaizo's village, are you expecting me to care less about that, lol. Troll seems to have become suspicious and then killed the char Jordan was using.
And regardless, I don't take sides in the actual fighting between the factions, I don't get involved because a) idc and b) it's a bit difficult when I have friends in all three main parties.
I came in twice, once when the talk had turned to how much Jordan is 'hated' by everyone - well, he's not hated by me, and secondly when it was being implied he was involved in account stealing.

We all defend our friends if we believe in them, don't we? If it was Troll in a situation where I thought he was being unjustly accused I would be doing exactly the same thing. Both Troll and Jordan (and you, Tonky) have done the same for me.

Btw, when Troll came to fix my walls Jordan did also offer to come and help him - a temporary truce if you like.
