The game need a kitchen structure or somehing.

I know that at the end people only care about cheese and sausages, but it would be nice to have a kitchen strucutre (with it's own huge inventory space) where you can just put ingredients and kitchen tools (and even fuel like an oven) in it and then your hearthling only has to "cast a recipie" on it or something.

Example

Let's say you have to make an LC worth of Beeted Bird Breast, which is pain in the ass to make because it needs (per unit):

1 x Raw chicken meat
2 x Beetroots
0.2L of vinegar
0.2L of wine
4 x dried pepper drupes
4 x yellow onions
1 x butter

...AND it also needs a frying pan equipped (so your invenory size is reduced !!!) and a fireplace to cook. I think it took me like half an hour just to make an LC of those and after that i said "fuck this recipie !".

So, i was thinkning, why not having a kitchen where you can only put recipie items, kitchen tools and fuel (and in huge quantities, maybe quantity is fucntion of kithcen Q, like the barter stand). Once all ingredients (and tools/fuel if necessary) are in place, your hearthling only has to approach the kithcne and execute the recipie. The resulting meal appears in the character's inventory.

Yes. Consolidation of production materials, equipment, and cooking structures is practical and sensible. Best of all it, ideally, makes the whole ordeal of cooking less tedious.

Yes, the kitchen cal also be used to make the subproducts, like bread/pie dough (maybe using a rolling pin or something). I mean, you DO NEED a flat surface and a rolling pin to make dough out of wheat and water !!!!

Tables, chairs ect... as work benches... making things easier some how in prep or otherwise. Is a lovely idea. One thing to do is wait and see what shows up.

While we're on the subject of food, it'd be nice if you could cook meat in an oven as opposed to having to build a campfire.
