The Only Section Eemerald Needs to Read
Also, the Edelreich makes LARGE PROJECTS that we've tried to introduce to the entire community much more feasible, because we introduce them to the smaller, but similarly diverse, Edelreich community.

For that reason, things like The Warring Society, and the Trade Hub have a superior chance of success. This is because while the Edelreich sustains open invitation, the people who are there, and part of the system, want to be there and shape the system.

My, a bit arrogant when your talking to the one who has done these projects and helped with them in the past. You offer her nothing new.

To be fair, loftar immediately corrected me afterwards saying I was estimating it to be half of what it actually was. =)

lol you're really bent in getting EC into this aren't you? And yet you say there is the possibility this might become a band of organized raiders. To be honest, looking at it from a distance like I am, this looks a lot like a new faction. If this isn't true you might want to work on its PR.

I'm still very interested in knowing how international it will be though. Will there be separate meeting boards for Koreans and Russians or will all of them be in the same one?

I write:

This is to say The Edelreich has all the applications of any new faction in this game, though note that no faction shares, even moderately, the similar values of openness as Emerald City does.

To the point to how international The Edelreich might be: As a personal goal, I would like the group to have multilingual support. How feasible that is depends on cooperation of individuals. Ten months ago, we had a fluent Spanish and English speaking village join The Edelreich.

You will find my name tacked onto these projects as well. Did the community pull off The Warring Society without a hitch? At all? Take a look at the end of that thread. Much more goes into these projects than the bricks needed. You, Eemerald, me—we all know this, so why publicly denounce it? The Edelreich does offer plenty new (I mean, hello, I know—I parsed through most of the game's history.) It is certainly not arrogant to suggest a smaller sample population is easier to cater to than the community at large. History in this game proves this.

Look at Anatolia, LadyV.

Do you not agree there is more to a community project than being able to construct a location?

You may have no desire to do anything with this group, but let every individual decide if more can be done through a unified ideal such as The Edelreich.

Truth. I began the quote at Teck's post for context (which is what politicians don't want people to have). I also tried to account for brevity and aesthetic. Citing Loftar's post directly centers the page on Teck's apology and I wouldn't want readers to miss Loftar's small post at the top of the page.

@Vaku First of all those projects you claim to pioneer have been done long before you and probably better than you will ever do. You merely hijacked the topics for your own devise. That is and has been your arrogance.

As for for you and your brainchild I understand you all to well. I've met people in life who have the desire to be a demigod. I've stared them down and went on with my life. You bring a dark nationalism to this game and that should not belong in any game. All you will achieve is bitter wars, unification by opposing factions, and in the end the death of the friendly competitive spirit of this game.

I've read everything you have written and I know your style. Wrapping people up in grand projects, causes, and a spirit they are more than themselves. Don't get me wrong those can be good things. But I do not trust you or your intents. I would sooner join most any faction than join you. At least they are honest with who and what they are. And for me to say that says a lot.

I may be a lone hermit, strong willed, and a bit stubborn at times but I'm honest with who and what I am. Can you say the same?

I'm taken aback by your analysis.

V, it is an understatement to say you have knack for misreading.

You're chatting like I've been plotting to take over the world.

If I wanted to assert myself in the way you think, then I would make characters to shit on palisades and yoloswag shit day-in-day-out.

I am baffled you think this: that
LadyV wrote:the friendly competitive spirit of this game

is somehow contrary to any project I have participated or submitted.

I don't know my intents any more than you. I delve into fun when if feels right, and being able to follow a community, in which I can be happy, feels right.

I revealed in Part 2 that I thought Dis would be that group for me, but there was virtually no transparency for outsiders and no invitation to others beyond being combat ready. Virtually every "Faction" you speak of is only interested in combat readiness. You say I am out to make conflict. Conflict already exists. I will, for the sake of The Edelreich, appeal to conflict. Brodgar was not for me because it shat on security. Groups like The Edelreich need people who are combat savvy, but that is not all that our group is interested in.

I want a faction interested in major works, grand projects, causes, and inspiration. Lol. What is most funny is I don't want to lead. I am pushed to make and sustain The Edelreich because no group like it exists. Every group is cloistered to a fault or throws caution to the wind. Is there no middle ground?

I am glad you push me to explain myself and defend myself, but LadyV, your conclusions are unfounded.

@Vaku No I think I am quite right. Im not getting into another debate. We both know you wont answer things properly and only sidestep issues. You have never proven to me or this community as a whole you have any intent other than you. I've said my peace and my warning to people. By all means carry out your scheme. I however will not support you.
