Were there keys or key moulds around that were accessible to all villagers?
It was reported in the other thread that you had a 'spy' who was relaying information out to third parties, maybe this person let him in if they had access to keys or moulds to make keys.

I got intel that one of the villagers went through every (normally) accessible container and found no keys, but they never searched the claimed land, or a Timber house that was outside the walls. I also heard that one of the villagers was heading to an island full of Pigs(?) when they heard noise from his client and closed the window. Perhaps they had a key on them?

EDIT: Also something about a temporary Chief, but there is a way to tell if they where oathed in. Rodimus needs to confirm, though.

Rodimus, did you see a Banner Icon next to your killer's head? If so, it might have been an inside job...

Sounds rough. BTW I still only give keys to people that I have played with for a long time. also once we can we always replace gates with crossroads and you should 2..

Never give keys to peeps you know RL so much more likely to screw you....(PERSONAL)

Does your village all use skype or anything like that to chat. Maybe someone in your village was caught outside with key, they could be dead and just not getting back on bc they are like f this.....

I got my yolo alt oathed and then proceeded to follow the lawspeaker, Rodimus and lock him inside his own timber house and kill him with my fists and mighty rbow, I then took over as lawspeaker and since the villagers didn't have a Skype group, probably because Rodimus' mom didn't let him download it, they couldn't retaliate againt my 100 ua alt cause they had no method of communication outside of the game.

Dark Cristi had 24h to move his hearth fire, he didn't comply with the commands of the new leader and move out, so I summoned his char with some scents I found inside my newest village.
I'm not suprised that dark cristi quit seeing how it probably took him 2 months to get 2 million LP, maybe he wants to post a stat sheet, Rodimus pmed me his.
